Northern Dental Specialties is a specialist dental practice focused on the replacement, reconstruction and rejuvenation of teeth. We are focused on providing the best diagnosis, technology and treatment to our patients, all in a relaxed, friendly environment. We are located on Sydney’s beautiful Northern Beaches at Mona Vale. In order to provide the best treatment to our patients, we have invested heavily in the latest state of the art equipment for both diagnosis and patient treatment. The practice is a true digital practice, with the centrepiece being our high definition Cone Beam CT scanner. This allows us to scan the patient and obtain a 3 dimensional image of the patient’s teeth, face and bones. With this information, we can see all the teeth, bone, nerves and blood vessels and then make extremely accurate diagnoses. It also helps in treatment planning for implant cases as we can place the implants virtually and minimise the risks for the actual surgery. We also have an in-house commercial dental laboratory and dental technicians that fabricate all our crowns and bridges, denture and other devices onsite. This allows Dr Giblin to oversee all stages of the manufacture, providing an unmatched level of quality in all our restorations. This type of setup is very rare in Australia, with many dentists now sending work overseas to be made. The lab is also very heavily invested in technology, and uses the latest in CAD-CAM technology and modern dental materials to make all the restorations.
